The Five Reiki Principles

During Reiki training it is important to learn the Five Reiki Principles. Not only do they teach us to be fully present in each and every moment, but they are a practice that should be integrated into everyday life.

The principles can be adopted by anyone regardless of whether they use Reiki or not, why not give it a try? Say them to yourself:

  1. Just for today I release all anger
  2. Just for today I release all worry
  3. Just for today I honour my teachers through life
  4. Just for today I earn my living honestly
  5. Just for today I am kind to every living thing
